About Us:
Southern Comfort Farm & Rabbitry is located in Georgia, between Atlanta and Macon, and is home to a variety of animals.
A small herd of Myotonic (Fainting) Goats has been acquired with the intent to improve on conformation and provide a few quality kids each year. We have been very blessed in acquiring several goats from Linda and Mike Reed of LA Fainters Farm when they decided to disperse their herd after quite a few years of breeding and working with the Myotonics. We have also added a buck from Linda Bakken's herd in Kansas, that complements the conformation and pedigrees of the goats already in our herd.
Another project is breeding and showing Netherland Dwarf and Holland Lop rabbits. We are working on Blue Eyed Whites in the Netherland Dwarfs, and have bloodlines from Sunrise, Smith, Ford, and a few others. Our Hollands are mostly blacks and black torts, with lines from Smith, Peachy Bun's, King's, and a few others.
We are a small hobby farm, and we are striving for quality over quantity. Occasionally we will have stock to sell, so check back periodically.
